IIT Kharagpur gets 235 offers on first day of placements

IIT Kharagpur secured 235 offers from companies like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Google, EXL Service, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, and American Express on the first day of the placement process, the institute said in a release.

30 companies conducted the process with more than 60 profiles opened for the students. A wide-spectrum of profiles like software, analytics, finance, consulting and core were offered to IIT KGPians.

The number and quantum of packages offered, improved significantly with a surge in hiring figures with dozens of international offers from Quantbox, Rubrik, Da Vinci, Square Point, TMSC, etc. and a handful of domestic offers above the one crore mark received from Graviton, Rubrik, Quantbox, etc.


Almost 400 PPOs were offered to students, the institute said.
