IIT Delhi students receive 900 placement offers

NEW DELHI: Students at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi have received 900 offers (including PPOs) in the first phase of placement. The campus has seen an increase of about 20% in the number of companies visiting as well as a 22% increase in the number of selections in the first phase this year compared to same period last year. More recruiters are scheduled to visit in Phase II which would run from January to May.

43 students have been selected for international roles in the European region, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, US etc. The placement season for the batch graduating in 2019 at IIT Delhi started in August 2018.

The institute had also organized a Career Conclave with the theme of "Prism of Possibilities: Visualise, Improvise, Realise" before the placement season started.


More than 350 companies offering over 550 different profiles have registered for this placement season. Over 150 companies are likely to visit the campus in the next phase.
