IIT Bombay sees 50% increase in job offers at the end of Day of final placements

IIT Bombay’s Placement season saw a total of 756 selected students at the end of Day 2, a jump of 50% over the 503 offers it had received in the corresponding period in 2020, the institute said in a release.

On Day 2, Placement season had 60 companies interviewing students. A Total of 263 students were selected in 60 companies, and 8 International companies participated on Day 2.

On Day 3, Placement season had 57 companies interviewing students. Slot 3.1 had 30 companies and the evening slot had 27 companies interviewing candidates. The institute said it was expecting a similar trend of selections.


It added that it hoped to complete placement season with good selections with 25 % more companies participating this year.
