IIM Rohtak's top 50 students get average package of Rs 13.6 lakh

MUMBAI: IIM Rohtak has completed final placements for its 152-strong PGP batch of 2013-15.

Around 61 recruiters participated in the process which saw the average annual package of top 50 students at Rs 13.6 lakh and that of the top 100 students at Rs 11.74 lakh.

The average annual salary of the batch registered an 8.3% increase over the previous year, along with a significant increase in the number of pre-placement offers.

The major recruiters included Amazon, JP Morgan, Tata Motors, Cognizant, Mphasis, Wipro, Infosys, SBI, ICICI Bank, Mindtree, ICICI Prudential, YES Bank, HSBC, L&T, KPMG, Mother Dairy, EY, HDFC and BPCL among others. The top 10 recruiters in terms of number of offers accounted for 50% of the batch.

The recruiters offered profiles including project management, business development, analytics, product development, operations and supply chain management, investment banking, retail banking, corporate finance, portfolio management and business consulting.
