IIM Raipur completes placements with highest salary package of Rs 27.2 lakh

MUMBAI: IIM Raipur has completed final placements for the 2015-17 batch, with a highest package of Rs 27.2 lakh and a median package of Rs 13.2 lakh. The average salary offered saw an increase of about 5% and stood at Rs 13.10 lakh per annum.

The average salary offered to the top 10 percentile, top 25 percentile and the top 50 percentile of the batch were Rs 19.4 lakh, Rs 17.1 lakh and Rs 15.5 lakh respectively.

About 20% of the batch of 141 students secured PPOs/PPIs and more than 140 recruiters showed interest in the final placement process this year. The highlight of the season was the participation of 90 plus new recruiters.


13% of the batch was placed in Consulting and General Management roles with recruiters including Deloitte, PwC, VirtusaPolaris, Mu Sigma, TVS Tyres, Blue Star, Wipro and Cadila Pharmaceuticals.

Sales and Marketing saw representation from the likes of DS Group, Godrej & Boyce, Emami, BPCL, HPCL, Reliance Jio, Tata Steel, while BFSI and NBFC had Bank of America, Aditya Birla Financial Services, Bajaj Allianz, Standard Chartered, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC, SBI and Fidelity Investments.

12% of the batch was recruited for IT & Operations roles by the likes of Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys BPO and L&T.

The Human Resources domain saw a surge in demand this year, with Marks & Spencer, Mondelez Tata Teleservices and Vedanta participating.
