IIM Calcutta wraps up final placements with 501 offers
Recruiters included Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs Markets, Credit Suisse IBD and BNP Paribas.

According to the placement office, international offers were made for locations at Germany, Finland, USA, Japan, Dubai and Kuwait. Nokia Networks recruited 3 students to join its Finland and Germany Offices. Practo, an online medical practice management firm, hired a student for its country head role.
German incubator Rocket Internet made 4 offers for its role in South-East Asia.
The institute saw over 100 offers from the finance sector including 22 offers in front-end investment banking/PE/VC roles. Recruiters included Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs Markets, Credit Suisse IBD and BNP Paribas.
Consulting firms including BCG, McKinsey & Co, and AT Kearney made 20% of the total offers. With 18 offers in all, Accenture was the largest recruiter at IIM Calcutta this year.
Sales and marketing represented by the likes of P&G, Dabur, ITC and Alshaya made up 19% of the offers. E-Commerce, with 47 offers, saw an over 100% rise compared to last year. Firms included Amazon, Snapdeal, Flipkart, Olacabs and Quikr.
