Group CEO Ramakrishnan said that Frontline Workforce (FLW) in Sales, Customer Service and Ops plays a critical role in today's world, however their salaries are stagnant for the last 5-6 years due to low productivity.
Hyderabad-based HR services firm TMI Group on Monday launched a Centre of Excellence for improving People Performance. Group Chairman T. Muralidharan said the centre would work closely with organisations to decipher their employee performance and correct it.

In a press release, the group said that organizations in India were losing over Rs. 40,000 crore a year due to poor productivity and attrition. It started working with two NBFCs six months ago and found that HR could be spending close to 30-40% of its budget on underperformances. The Centre would focus on building models and processes to bridge gaps that would improve employee productivity

Group CEO Ramakrishnan said that Frontline Workforce (FLW) in Sales, Customer Service and Ops plays a critical role in today's world, however their salaries are stagnant for the last 5-6 years due to low productivity. “We want to break this cycle and increase productivity so that wages can go up significantly,” he added.
