HR heads on the move; HCL, MindTree, Yahoo to have new executives
With the financial year ending, there have been a number of HR Heads of IT and product services firms who have changed loyalties.
Aparna Ballakur, who was the HR head for Yahoo! India for the last three years left the firm. Before Yahoo! India, she headed HR for Adobe's India and China operations for five years.
IT firm HCL has roped in Prithvi Shergill to lead the company's HR on the global front. Shergill was earlier the Lead, Human Resources for Accenture in India and joined HCL few weeks back.
HCL lost its Senior Vice president for HR Ravi Shankar to Bangalore-based IT services firm MindTree. Ravi Shankar was appointed asExecutive Vice President & Chief People Officer for MindTree.
"There is a demand from new age companies which are in growing phase for HR professionals from similar or young technology companies to bring in HR practices and systems to support workworce who have or will join the organisation.
