Haryana focuses on overseas placements

Haryana Overseas Placement Bureau has decided to set up 5 more training centres for nurses at Ambala, Karnal, Hisar, Rohtak and Faridabad.

CHANDIGARH: In view of a demand of Country's Nurses all over the world, especially in USA, the Haryana Overseas Placement Bureau has decided to set up five more training centres for nurses at Ambala, Karnal, Hisar, Rohtak and Faridabad.

Disclosing this on Friday, Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that one such training centre was already being run by the Bureau in its office at Panchkula.

An MoU with Modi Healthcare Placement, New Delhi had also been signed for the placement of nurses in the USA, he added.
Hooda said that the Bureau had also received 3190 vacancies for engineers and technicians from Canada.

The selection process against these vacancies was under way.

The Bureau had also sent 17 more students to different European countries for higher studies.
