Fast track recruitment mechanism for J&K
The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to give thrust on filling up of vacancies at various levels in time-bound and transparent manner.

JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to give thrust on filling up of vacancies at various levels in time-bound and transparent manner, state's Minister for Health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma said.
For this purpose, a fast tract recruitment mechanism has been initiated for early filling up of the vacancies, he said speaking at the inaugural function of a day-long workshop here on Saturday.
"We can succeed in our mission if the recruitment process proceeds in a fair and equitable basis, as envisaged by the Constitution," Sharma said.
He said government would give top priority to the preparation of an employment oriented plan. He said the basic objective of the 11th five year plan would be to accelerate the rate of growth of the state domestic product to 8 per cent and to maximize the employment generation.
