UPSC Prelims Result 2024 declared: Civil Services Prelims result out on upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services (Preliminary) examination on Monday. Candidates can access their results on upsc.gov.in, where the question papers for the test were also previously released. The UPSC Civil Services Prelims results for 2024 are now available for all the candidates who had appeared in this tough exam.

Last year, the examination was conducted on May 26 with results declared on June 12. This year, the test was held on June 16, and the results have been released promptly.

The UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 consisted of two shifts for General Studies Paper 1 and Paper 2, totaling 400 marks. All questions were of the objective type with four options.


Following the Prelims results, successful candidates are qualified to appear for the Mains round, which comprises a written examination and a personality test. The UPSC CSE Mains 2024 is tentatively scheduled to commence from September 20.
