UP NEET PG 2025 round 3 counselling dates revised; check new registration schedule

The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has revised the schedule for UP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling. As per the updated timetable, the third round of counselling will now begin on January 23, 2026.

The registration process was earlier scheduled to start on January 2 and conclude on January 9, 2026. The revision follows the updated schedule issued by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), New Delhi.

In an official press brief, Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) stated that the revised timeline applies to the third round of online counselling for state quota seats in postgraduate medical courses, including MD, MS, Diploma and DNB, across government and private medical colleges, institutions and medical universities in Uttar Pradesh.

Online registration: January 23, 2026 (11:00 AM) to February 1, 2026 (11:00 AM)

Payment of registration and security fee: January 23, 2026 (11:00 AM) to February 1, 2026 (02:00 PM)

Merit list declaration: February 2, 2026

Online choice filling: February 3, 2026 (11:00 AM) to February 7, 2026 (11:00 AM)

Seat allotment result: February 9, 2026

Download of allotment letters and admission: February 9 to February 13, 2026

DGME clarified that candidates who have already registered earlier will not be required to register again. However, only those candidates who complete the online registration process and deposit the required security amount will be eligible for choice filling.

Candidates have been advised to assess their eligibility independently, as per the provisions mentioned in the UP NEET PG 2025 information brochure and government orders.
