SSC GD Constable Recruitment notification soon: Check details here

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is reportedly to release the notification for Constable (General Duty) positions soon. Candidates can apply for Constable GD roles in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles through the SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

The notification is expected on Tuesday, and applications will be open until October 5. A computer-based examination will take place in January-February 2025.

The forthcoming notification will encompass details such as application deadlines, fee payment procedures, correction windows, and exam dates, as per media reports. It will also cover eligibility criteria, the number of vacancies, application procedures, and the exam pattern.


To qualify, applicants need to have completed Class 10 or Matriculation from a recognized board or university. As per rules, those who haven't passed Class 10 by the cut-off date will be ineligible.

The common eligibility age range is 18-23 years as of the cut-off date, which is generally January 1 of the recruitment year—in this case, 2025.

The notification will provide specific details and any possible alterations to existing rules will be included in the official release.
