The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has extended the registration period for the three-year LLB program of MAH CET Law 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications on the official website — cetcell.mahacet.org. The new deadline is 21st February.

A notification stated that many candidate application forms were incomplete, and requests from candidates and parents for an extension of CET dates were received. Considering the academic interests of the candidates, the CET CELL decided to provide a second extension for online registration for the CET examination.

No further extension will be granted after February 21, 2024, it said. The online application registration schedule and information brochure for this examination are available on the official website www.mahacet.org of the State Common Entrance Test Cell.


Candidates have until February 21, 2024, to apply for the exam, compared to the earlier deadline of February 10th. MAH CET Law 2024 (three-year LLB) will take place on March 12 and 13, while the entrance test for the five-year program will occur on May 3.

MAH-LLB 3 years exam: How to apply

1. Visit the official website — cetcell.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the registration link. New candidates must register, while others should log in to the portal.
3. Complete the form by providing essential credentials and submit the documents.
4. Pay the required fee and download the payment receipt for future reference.

Students applying for the MAH CET law application (three-year program) need to pay a fee of Rs 800. Students from reserved categories in Maharashtra must submit Rs 400 as an application fee.

The MAH-LLB 3 Yrs CET 2024 entrance exam is conducted for admission to the first year of the three-year full-time undergraduate degree in Law course. The exam is administered by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, for the academic year 2023-24.

The Government of Maharashtra established the State Common Entrance Test Cell under Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015. The CET Cell conducts various entrance exams for Admission to Professional courses in the state of Maharashtra, India, with its primary purpose being to facilitate the admission process for Professional courses such as Law, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Medical, AYUSH & Fine Arts.
