IBPS SO 2025 results out: Check how to download scorecard, direct link, next steps, final marks calculation and more

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the IBPS Specialist Officer (SO) Result 2025 scorecards on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their marks by logging in at ibps.in using their registration credentials.

IBPS SO scorecards released

According to the official notification, the IBPS SO scorecards will be accessible only from January 8 to January 14, 2026. After this period, candidates will no longer be able to view or download their scores, and are therefore advised to save a copy at the earliest.

The scorecard displays section-wise marks, total marks obtained and the candidate’s qualification status. IBPS stated that candidates who meet the cut-off criteria will be eligible to progress to the next stage of the selection process.

Candidates qualifying based on their marks will be called for the interview, which is the final stage of the recruitment process. The final merit list will be prepared by combining the marks obtained in the main examination and the interview. Candidates have been advised to regularly check the IBPS website for updates related to interview dates and further instructions.

Through this recruitment exercise, IBPS aims to fill 1,007 Specialist Officer posts across various participating public sector banks.

IBPS SO negative marking

IBPS said there will be a penalty for incorrect responses in the objective tests. For each wrong answer, one-fourth or 0.25 marks of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted from the candidate’s score.

Exam pattern for specialist officer posts

The main examination for the posts of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer consists of an objective test carrying 60 marks, with a duration of 45 minutes.

For the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari, the main examination includes both objective and descriptive components. It comprises 45 objective-type questions and two descriptive questions, carrying a total of 60 marks, to be completed within 30 minutes.

Candidates can visit the official website ibps.in, click on the IBPS SO Result 2025 scorecard link, enter their registration number or roll number along with password or date of birth, submit the details, and download the scorecard for future reference.
