The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has just announced significant revisions to the 2024 board exam timetable for both Class 10 and Class 12. These updated schedules, available on the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in, bring changes to various exam dates.

Among the notable alterations are the rescheduling of specific papers. For instance, the Class 10 Tibetan paper, previously slated for March 4, 2024, has been moved to February 23, 2024. Additionally, the Class 10 Retail paper, initially set for February 16, 2024, will now be held on February 28, 2024.

For Class 12 exams, the Fashion Studies paper, initially planned for March 11, 2024, has undergone a revision and is now scheduled for March 21, 2024.


The revised examination window for Class 10 spans from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while Class 12 exams are scheduled to commence on February 15 and conclude on April 2, 2024. Both sets of exams will occur within single shifts.

1. Go to cbse.gov.in and click on the Examination Link.
2. Look for the CBSE 10th, 12th Revised Date Sheet 2024 link.
3. Access the PDF file displaying the updated timetable with subject names and exam dates.
4. Download and print the PDF for future reference.

Meanwhile, the CBSE 10th, 12th practical exams for 2024 commenced on January 1 and are set to conclude on February 15, 2024. Schools in regions affected by winter hosted practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for the 2023-24 academic session between November 14 and December 14, 2023.
