Bihar STET 2024: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) recently released the notification for Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) 2024. The application process for interested candidates will commence from Thursday. In 2023, the Bihar government announced a large-scale recruitment drive for school teachers.

Applicants who had DElEd qualifications and met the eligibility criteria for the STET exam can submit their applications. The last date to apply for Bihar STET 2024 is January 02, 2024. The date of the STET 2024 examination will be announced by the examination board in due course.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, or EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 960/- for either Paper I or Paper II. If they choose to apply for both papers, the fee increases to Rs. 1140.

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for STET 2024 Paper I and Paper II differs. For STET 2024 Paper I, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and D.Ed in the respective subject. For STET 2024 Paper II, candidates should have a Master's degree and B.Ed in the respective subject.

Age Limit: he maximum age limits for different categories are as follows: - General (Male): 37 years - General (Female): 40 years - OBC (Male/Female): 40 years - SC (Male/Female): 42 years - ST (Male/Female): 42 years

Exam pattern

Each paper consists of objective multiple-choice questions, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Paper 1 focuses on subjects like Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit, English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. It consists of a total of 150 questions, with each correct answer carrying one mark. The maximum score for Paper 1 is 150 marks.

On the other hand, Paper 2 covers subjects such as English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Computer Science. It also consists of 150 objective multiple-choice questions, with each correct answer carrying one mark. The time duration for Paper 2 is 2.5 hours, and there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
