RUPNAGAR (PUNJAB): A separate department of employment would be set up in Punjab soon for creating job generation opportunities, Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said on Saturday
Addressing a function near here, he said the proposed department would conduct a survey of educated unemployed youth so that they could be provided vocational guidance by experts according to their interest.
Badal said arrangements would also be made to provide vocational training to unemployed youth by starting block- level vocational training centres.
He said three schools upto the level of plus two classs would be selected in each assembly constituency of the state providing all facilities including class rooms, play grounds, laboratories, furniture. Besides, there would be no shortage of teachers in these schools.
