EdTech startup Vedantu set to hire 2,500 employees in next three months to aid growth
New recruits will be at entry and mid-level across functions like product, technology, academics and business.

Edtech start-up Vedantu plans to hire 2,500 people in the next three months (April-June) in a bid to support its next phase of growth. The new hires will be at entry and mid-level from India’s premium B-schools and engineering institutes, the leading online learning company said in a press release on Tuesday.
The company currently has a people strength of 6,000, which will grow to 8,500 employees post the team expansion.
The new hires will be across functions including product, technology, academics, business, and marketing.
“With the boom in online learning adoption, we aim to hire highly driven and inspired individuals who can become a part of the Vedantu mission,” said Vamsi Krishna, CEO, and co-founder, Vedantu. “We are further expanding our presence in tier 2-3 markets, and with a strong team we aim to impact many more lives and grow from strength to strength,” he added.
The pandemic and the resultant restrictions has given a big push to the growth and widespread adoption of online learning with some India’s leading edtech start-ups clocking exponential growth during the last one year.
