Earn up to Rs 69,100 per month. Apply for 54,953 positions in Indian security forces

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a fresh notification for 54,953 vacant positions in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NIA, SSF Forces. The vacancies pertain to GD Constable posts, the salary for which will range between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,100.

The fresh notification was shared to inform the interested candidates of the extended deadline for submitting applications for the said posts. September 17 is the new deadline for those wishing to apply for vacancies under the country's security forces.

Education Qualification: Matriculation or Class Xth pass certificate from any recognized board/university.


Eligibility criteria
Age limit: 18-23 years
Height: 170 cm for males; 157 cm for females
Chest: 80 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. (For males only)
Weight: Weight and age should be as per medical standards.

Note: Reservation to different categories will be as per the central government norms.

How to apply?
The application process for the posts is online and interested candidates need to register themselves through the official SCC website at http://www.ssconline.nic.in/. Following the registration, applicants will have to undergo four phases of exams comprising a physical standards test (PST), a physical efficiency test (PET), a written examination and a medical examination. Final selection would be based on performance in each stage.
