Deloitte hands out special increments and bonuses

Deloitte India, one of the big four professional services firms, has announced bonuses and special increments over and above normal salary jumps in March, indicating a bouncebeck in demand for advisory services as the economy continues to recover from the Covid-19 disruption.

The firm, on Tuesday doled out increment letters.

The letters also mentioned that executives would also get “special increments” over and above normal salary jumps.


ET spoke to some partners in the firm who said that all employees in the firm have got this special compensation. In most cases this is either a bonus or a straight forward increase in their salary.

“Partners, directors and other senior executives have received one-time bonuses while those below managers have seen their salary revised,” said a person aware of the development.

That’s not all. Another senior partner said that all employees will have a second round of appraisal in June this year.
