CPMFs ties up with Mother Diary, Tata Indicom for jobs

The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board of the paramilitary forces has now tied up with Mother Diary and Tata Indicom to provide alternate source of income to its retired personnel or kins of those killed while on duty.

NEW DELHI: The Welfare and Rehabilitation Board of the paramilitary forces has now tied up with Mother Diary and Tata Indicom to provide alternate source of income to its retired personnel or kins of those killed while on duty.

WARB which was set up last year by the Ministry of Home Affairs is also in talks with other firms and even builders to provide jobs and cheaper accommodation to its men.

As per the agreement with Mother Diary, the firm has agreed to allot 50 booths and SAFAL outlets in Delhi and NCR on a trial basis.

Similarly, Tata Indicom has also agreed to provide subsidised telephone booths to ex-central paramilitary forces and Next of Kin (Nok).

"It is an initiative to tell our personnel that the force is still behind them even if they are no longer with it. We take care of our men even after retirement along with families of those killed during various operations," Director General of CRPF and also the head of WARB V K Joshi said while speaking at the inauguration of 'Kalyan Mela' here on Thursday.

The fair which was set up to publicise WARB among the personnel saw participation from all the paramilitary forces who had set up stall to answer any query from its personnel or their family members.
