CBI is hiring: Vacancies notified in 8 cities, pay Rs 40,000 per month

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued a notification seeking applications from eligible candidates for the post of an inspector. The notification pertains to multiple vacancies in the probe agency's regional branches in Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Patna and Assam.

A total of 28 positions have been notified to be vacant.

Education Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
1.) Interested candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university.


2.) Retired officials of central/state police can apply for the vacant posts. Those applying need to have a minimum of experience of 10 years in investigation and prosecution of criminal cases.

Candidates need to log in to the official website at www.cbi.gov.in and apply for the said posts. Candidates will have to send completed forms along with requisite documents to the address shared in the original notification. The documents need to be sent via registered or speed post before the shared deadline.
