Adani Group, NSDC sign pact to train 300,000 youth by 2022
"ASDC, with the support of NSDC will facilitate some of the most sought after skills to youths, which will enable sustainable economic growth," Trivedi added.

To be spearheaded by the Adani Skill Development Center (ASDC) in partnership with the NSDC, the initiative is the brainchild of Adani Foundation, which is the philanthropic, CSR & sustainability arm of the Adani Group.
“Skill development is integral to nation-building and inclusive socioeconomic development. We are committed to the Government’s ‘Skill India’ initiative which aims to train millions of youth across some of the most remote & underdeveloped parts of the country. ASDC, with the support of NSDC will facilitate some of the most sought after skills to youths, which will enable broad-based & sustainable economic growth”, said Jatin Trivedi, head- skill development, Adani Foundation.
ASDC will align with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) to enable beneficiaries’ mobility & transferable skills. Meanwhile, ASDC has partnered with IIT-Bombay for training material & certification to facilitate IT skills among beneficiaries.
In order to upkeep the global benchmark of its training; ASDC is currently in discussion with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) of UK, Technical And Further Education (TAFE) of Australia, International Marketing Of Vocational Education, Training- Made in Germany (iMOVE), SkillsUSA and Part of Schooling, Initiatives by Manufacturing Sector, Israel, for content development & certification.
Certification courses for RTG Crane Operator, Power Plant Mechanical Technician, Stitching and Bagging Machine Operator and Edible Oil Packaging Operation have already been approved by the Government of Gujarat.
