We do not want tightening of money supply in the Budget: Essar Shipping

V Ashok, CFO, Essar Shipping, in a chat with ET Now says that the sector does not want further tightening of money supply.

Do you think that any infrastructure announcements in the Budget might be a big positive boost for you?

No, if it remains at the same level, we are happy. We do not want further tightening of money supply which will affect the cost of borrowings and if couple of them on the sea transportation side we would be okay with that. We are not asking for much here now. We do understand the concerns of the government. So we will see it year by year.
