Trivandrum Chamber seeks Vizhinjam marina

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce has called on the state government for a marina, a cruise terminal and an exhibition-convention centre to be established as part of the development of the Vizhinjam container transshipment terminal.

Chamber president EM Najeeb and honorary secretary SN Raghuchandran Nair said these extra features would help tap the economic potential of the region in better fashion, considering the strong tourism prospects of the Kovalam-Vizhinjam corridor.
