Train services affected between Gujarat & North India

Railway traffic connecting Gujarat to northern India was affected for the second consecutive day on Friday with five trains being cancelled by the Western Railways due to the agitation by Gurjars in neighbouring Rajasthan.

AHMEDABAD: Railway traffic connecting Gujarat to northern India was affected for the second consecutive day on Friday with five trains being cancelled by the Western Railways due to the agitation by Gurjars in neighbouring Rajasthan.

The cancelled Dehli-bound trains are 2957 Swarna Jayanti Rajdhani express and 2917 Sampark Kranti Express, railway officials said.

Hardwar-Delhi Mail (9105) starting from Ahmedabad and going to Hardwar, Okha-Dehradun Express (9265) and Ala Hazrat Express (4312) starting from Bhuj and going to Bareilly have also been cancelled.

Additional counters have been opened for refund of tickets, Western Railway officials added.
