Soma enterprises bags Rs 460 crore project

Infrastructure developer Soma Enterprises Ltd on Monday said it has bagged an order worth Rs 460 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to construct a road stretch on NH7.

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure developer Soma Enterprises Ltd on Monday said it has bagged an order worth Rs 460 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to construct a road stretch on NH7.
The company would construct the Nagpur-Hyderabad stretch, which is a part of the North-South corridor on NH7 and it would be executed through a joint venture between Soma Enterprises and Avinash Bhosali, a company statement said.
The project would be executed on build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis and the concession period for the project is 20 years, including the time taken in construction, the statement said.
The project envisages four-laning of the Maharashtra- Andhra Pradesh border road and is to be completed in two years, it said.
"In keeping with our past track record, we are confident of completing both these projects well within the scheduled completion period," Soma Enterprises Director Ankineedu Mangati said in the statement.
