RSRTC gives 50 % discount to women on Women's Day
To mark International Women's Day today, the Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) gave a 50 per cent discount to women passengers on all routes.

JAIPUR: To mark International Women's Day today, the Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) gave a 50 per cent discount to women passengers on all routes.
"We have been doing this for the last two years and this year as well as we are giving 50 per cent discount to women passengers in every category, be it an ordinary, delux, semi-delux or AC Volvo bus and on any route," Executive Manager (Public Relations) Sudheer Bhati said here.
Women passengers who had booked advanced tickets to Delhi, Agra, Udaipur or any other city are being given 50 per cent refund, said Bhati.
There was a long line of women passengers at booking counters at Sinhi camp bus stand to take advantage of the offer. Many of them had booked their ticket in advance.
"It is a good thing initiated by RSRTC but I think that there should be some provision of discounts on the monthly passes of working women and girl students who use the city bus service," said Megha, a student at the city's Maharani College.
