Rs 10lk cr investments promised at Global Maritime India Summit

New Delhi: Investments to the tune of ₹10 lakh crore were anchored during the three-day Global Maritime India Summit, 2023, which concluded on Thursday.

An official statement said that these investments will help achieve the Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 for the sector.

Speaking at the valedictory session of the summit, Union Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said the country's is doubling efforts to make green ports.
