Rice-loaded ship catches fire when anchored in Gujarat jetty

A cargo ship, Haridharshan, anchored at the Porbandar Subhashnagar Jetty in Gujarat, caught fire on Monday. The fire on the ship became severe due to the load of rice loaded on it. The vessel was loaded with approximately 950 tons of rice and 78 tons of sugar.

The Somalia-bound ship was towed to the middle of the sea with three fire brigade vehicles conducting fire dousing operations at the scene.
