Recommendations for logistics integration

The high point of the twoday maritime conference of Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I ) is the release of its recommendations for integration of logistics industry.

Maritime industry being the backbone of trade and commerce, it underlines, a holistic approach to logistics integration, port connectivity and technology upgradation is essential to address related issues that adversely impact the momentum of the Indian economy.

The recommendations include policy and taxation matters as well as an action plan for the industry.
