Ola, which had 60000 cabs across 50 cities in the country, would focus in the next one year on nurturing micro-enterpreneurship, he said.
He said the company had tied up with car manufacturers like Tata, Ford, Mahindra, Maruti and Nissan to help drivers buy cars from them at discounts upto Rs one lakh. Besides they had also tied up with financial institutions to ensure drivers were able to procure loans for buying their own cars easily.
The mobile application would show the availablilty of cabs in nearby location to the customer. On booking, customers get confirmation along with booking details like and driver's name, he said.
