NECC receives order worth Rs 356 crore from Tata Steel

North Eastern Carrying Corporation (NECC) has said it has received a work order worth around Rs 356 crore from Tata Steel for transportation of raw materials and mining products from its Sukinda mines situated in Odisha.

This work order is valid from April 1, 2018 to March 31. 2021, an official statement said.

NECC Limited, a 48-year logistics company has vast experience in transportation and allied services related to mining, which is an extremely challenging and specialized task. The company said its experience in operational execution would allow it to accomplish the work order efficiently in time.


NECCL which has operations across India, Nepal and operational set ups into Bhutan and Bangladesh caters to clients includes esteemed organisations from the FMCG sector, Iron and Steel, Paper. Automobiles, Pharmaceuticals, Machinery, Confectionery, Beverages, Telecom, Electronics and various PSUs which include those in infra & power sector etc.
