Lanco ties up with Gulftainer

Hyderabad-based Lanco Infratech has entered into a memorandum of understanding with UAE-based Gulftainer Company to co-operate on a variety of port and transportation projects.

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad-based Lanco Infratech has entered into a memorandum of understanding with UAE-based Gulftainer Company to co-operate on a variety of port and transportation projects.

"The tie-up would synergise Lanco’s strength in infrastructure development and Gulftainer’s expertise in development and operations of ports and other transportation projects," said L Madhusudhan Rao, chairman, Lanco Infratech in a release on Monday.

At present, the power portfolio of Lanco include an operating capacity of 518 MW and additional capacities under construction aggregating to over 3,400 MW. The construction and EPC wing has so far executed $500 million worth of projects and has an order book worth about $2 billion.
