Great Eastern Shipping sells a suezmax crude carrier

Mumbai based Great Eastern Shipping Company has just sold its 1989 built suezmax crude carrier 'Jag Lakshya' of about 152,000 dwt. The company has already delivered the carrier to the buyer.

KOLKATA: Mumbai based Great Eastern Shipping Company has just sold its 1989 built suezmax crude carrier 'Jag Lakshya' of about 152,000 dwt. The company has already delivered the carrier to the buyer.

With the delivery of this vessel, the company's current fleet stands at 34 vessels, comprising 26 tankers (nine crude carriers, 16 product carriers, and one LPG carrier), eight dry bulk carriers (one Capesize, two Kamsarmax, one Panamax, three Supramax and one Handymax) with an average age of 8.8 years aggregating 2.55 mn dwt.
