A two-day global conference to showcase the immense potential of logistics and transportation sector in India will be organised in the national capital starting from January 7.


NEW DELHI: A two-day global conference to showcase the immense potential of logistics and transportation sector in India will be organised in the national capital starting from January 7.

The conference, India Global Logistic Vision (IGLV) 2008, will be organised by the All India Transporters Welfare Association (AITWA) for the first time, a press release said.

IGLV is conceptualised to showcase the growth and development of logistics and transportation sector in the last decade in India and the great potential it has for the future, it added.

The conference would also focus on the critical issues of highway and road development between Asia and Europe.

The deliberation over the two days would include a wide range of trade facilitation issues such as import and export procedures as well as role of industry and trade associations.
