GE Shipping takes delivery of new built OSV
Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (GE Shipping) on Friday said its offshore division has taken delivery of a new built Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) from Bharati Shipyard Ltd.
MUMBAI: Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (GE Shipping) on Friday said its offshore division has taken delivery of a new built Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) from Bharati Shipyard Ltd.
The OSV is named Malaviya Twenty Seven.
With this delivery the company s fleet strength now stands at 75 vessels - 36 offshore vessels (2 exploratory rigs, 22 offshore support vessels, 11 harbour tugs and a construction barge) and 39 ships (30 tankers and 9 dry bulk carriers), GE Shipping informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Upon demerger of the offshore division, the entire fleet of offshore vessels would stand transferred to Great Offshore Ltd, the resulting company, it added.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 290.90, down 1.37 per cent at the BSE.
