Gateway terminal adds three new services
When India-China Service (ICS) was flagged off Gateway Terminal from Nhava Sheva on May 26, it formed the fourth in a series of offerings that the new facility has launched in the last two months.
ICS, the newly introduced service connecting India and China is touted as the biggest service at Nhava Sheva. It has NYK, RCL Hapag Lloyd and Hyundai Merchant Maritime in the consortium.
RKI service has RCL as lead partner with SEACON and Wan Hai as consortium partners. Hyper Galex II, with Emirates as the lead partner and TS Lines, OOCL as consortium partners, is a dedicated service catering to the Far East.The restructured EPIC service jointly provided by Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg S��d linking Northern Europe with the Mediterranean region, Middle East and India was started from May 7.
The third terminal at Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Gateway Terminals is a joint venture between APM Terminals and Container Corporation of India (CONCOR).
