NEW DELHI: Freight rates for the nine metric tonne pay-load section for select destinations on Friday firmed up on the local truck transport market here on account of less availability of lorries against busy cargo movements.
Transporters said busy cargo movements against tight availability of lorries mainly pushed up select freight rates.
Delhi to Banglore and Chennai freights went up by Rs 1000 each at Rs 30,000 and Rs 31,000 respectively.
Rates to Coimbatore and Mysore also moved up by Rs 1000 each at Rs 38,000 and Rs 32,000 respectively
