Exporters to get Freight Assistance For FY 16 in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has notified the freight assistance scheme for exporting micro, small and medium enterprises ( MSMEs) located in the state and has given them time till September 9 to submit the claim application for 2015-16 on the web portal of the industries and commerce department.

A spokesman of the department said that MSMEs exporting units located in the state have to incur additional transportation cost due to large distances from sea ports, which renders their products uncompetitive compared to those of exporting units located in the coastal areas.
