David Binks appointed regional president of FedEx Express

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, today appointed David Binks as its regional president for Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa.

MUMBAI: FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, today appointed David Binks as its regional president for Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa.

Binks will assume charge on January 1, the US company said in a statement today. He will succeed Gerald Leary, who is retiring from FedEx Express after 39 years of service.

"Binks will be responsible for the broader leadership and strategic direction of FedEx Express across the entire EMEA region. He will be based at the company's EMEA headquarters in Brussels, Belgium," the company said.

Binks has been associated with FedEx since 1983 and was most recently senior vice-president of European operations. He has also been president of FedEx Canada.
