Cochin Shipyard Ltd delivers ninth patrol vessel to Indian Coast Guard

The vessel, named 'ICGS AMEYA', will be operated by the Coast Guard Station at Karaikal, an official release said.

KOCHI: Cochin Shipyard Ltd ( CSL) today delivered the ninth of the series of 20 Fast Patrol Vessels being built for the Indian Coast Guard.

The protocol of delivery and acceptance was signed by Capt R S Sundar, Director (Operations) on behalf of CSL and Commanding Officer (Designate) of the vessel Cmdt Anurag Chaudhari of the Indian Coast Guard.

DIG Vivek Vajpayee, Principal Director (Materials) of Indian Coast Guard, Paul Ranjan, Director (Finance)-CSL and Sunny Thomas Director (Technical)-CSL were among those present on the occasion.

The vessel, named ' ICGS AMEYA', will be operated by the Coast Guard Station at Karaikal, an official release said.
