APSEZL appoints Jayant Kumar as its HR head

NEW DELHI: Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZL) has appointed Jayant Kumar as its HR head. APSEZ is a principal entity that manages all three integrated verticals including Ports, Logistics and Special Economic Zone.

This appointment was communicated internally this month by the company to all its employees, a copy of which is with ET.

Kumar had recently resigned from Tata Powers as its chief human resource officer citing personal reasons as reported by ET on January 14 (Tata Power human resources chief resigns).


The company spokesperson neither confirmed nor denied this development to an emailed query sent by ET.

At ALL, Kumar will directly report to Karan Adani, CEO of APSEZL. Kumar is replacing Krishnamohan Rao, who will move into a new role as the HR head of Adani Transmission Limited.

Kumar has worked with Tata Power for six years prior to which he worked with companies like Marico Limited, Tata Teleservices Limited and Reliance Communications.

Rao will report to Anil Sardana, CEO and managing director of Adani Transmission Limited.
