NHAI appoints Ceigall India to develop 35.4 km long northern Ayodhya bypass

The four-six lane project to be developed under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-V-II in Uttar Pradesh will be built on hybrid annuity mode (HAM) at an estimated project cost of Rs 1199.30 crore.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has appointed Ceigall Northern Ayodhya Bypass Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ceigall India, for construction of 35.4 km long northern Ayodhya bypass on hybrid annuity mode (HAM) with an estimated project cost of Rs 1199.30 crore.

The four-six lane project to be developed under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-V-II in Uttar Pradesh will commence from July 9, 2025.

“This is in reference to the NHAl letter dated 01.07.2025 and joint memorandum signed between authority and concessionaire on 25.06.2025, the appointed date of the project is declared w.e.f 09.07.2025 in line with the concession agreement,” NHAI said on Tuesday.


“As regard to maintenance of the highway, proper care shall be taken and traffic worthiness and safety shall be ensured at all times as per the provisions of the concession agreement by the concessionaire from the appointed date,” it added.
