FASTag Annual Pass crosses one crore mark

The FASTag Annual Pass, launched on August 15, 2025, has crossed the significant milestone of one crore passes, reflecting its growing adoption by private vehicle owners for seamless and economical travel on National Highways and Expressways, the National Highways Authority of India said on Monday.

Applicable at about 1,150 fee plazas, the Annual Pass eliminates the need to frequently recharge FASTag through a one-time fee of Rs 3,075 for one year of validity or 200 toll plaza crossings.

The pass is applicable to all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.


According to NHAI, the Annual Pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle after payment of the one-time fee through the Rajmargyatra app.

“The growing uptake of the FASTag Annual Pass reinforces its effectiveness in promoting seamless and economical travel on National Highways across the country,” NHAI added.
