Highway regulations
DCP (Traffic) Virender Vij chaired a meeting to discuss traffic management on the expressway, emphasizing the prohibition of six vehicle types: two-wheelers, tractors/trolleys, auto-rickshaws, multi-axle hydraulic trailer vehicles, quadricycles, and non-motorized vehicles. Enforcement of traffic rules
Stringent measures are in place to penalize violators, particularly those driving on the wrong side or engaging in reckless behavior. Within a day of its opening, traffic police have already fined over 20 motorists for driving against the designated flow of traffic. Immediate action is mandated against offenders, including those involved in stunt-driving activities, with police teams regularly patrolling the expressway.

Speed limits
To curb speeding, traffic enforcement authorities have been equipped with interceptor challan machines. Light motor vehicles are required to maintain a speed of 100 km/h, while heavy motor vehicles must adhere to an 80 km/h speed limit on the expressway. Challans will be issued to drivers exceeding these limits to mitigate the risk of road accidents.
