Vasundhara Raje to flag off Jaipur Metro on June 3

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje would flag off the Jaipur Metro Rail here on June 3.

"The CM will inaugurate the metro rail at a function here on June 3," Jaipur Metro PRO Yashwant Kumar said.

The first phase of the Jaipur Metro project, which was initiated by the previous Congress government, is being constructed in two parts -- 1-A and 1-B.

Part 1-A, which is 9.7 km long from Mansarover to Chandpole, will be dedicated on June 3, while the work on 1-B from Chandpole to Badi Chaupad (2.3 km) is going on.
