Ten coaches of Jhelum Express derail in Punjab, 2 injured

Derailed coaches were B5,S1,PC,S2, S3,S4,S5,S6,S7,S8. No casualty reported, 2 minor injured send to Civil hospital Ludhiana.

CHANDIGARH Ten coaches of the Jhelum Express derailed near Ludhiana early today, leaving two passengers injured.

"Ten coaches of the Jhelum Express derailed between Phillaur and Ladhowal at 3:05 am," Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Ferozepur Anuj Prakash said.

He said the train was coming from Jammu and going towards Pune when it went off the tracks. Derailed coaches were B5,S1,PC,S2, S3,S4,S5,S6,S7,S8. No casualty reported, 2 minor injured send to Civil hospital Ludhiana.

Three buses were arranged and reached the site for transporting passengers to destination.
