Ramdev to develop Haridwar railway station as model station

HARIDWAR: Ramdev and his aide Acharya Balkrishna today launched a cleanliness drive at Haridwar railway station here and announced that Patanjali Yogpeeth will develop the railway station as a model by beautifying its premises with medicinal plants.

Describing cleanliness as integral to Mahatma Gandhi's vision of India, he said the idea behind Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ' Swachch Bharat' campaign will add to the country's prestige.

He said lakhs of Pantanjali's volunteers across the country's six hundred districts carried out a cleanliness drive today which will go on for a few hours on a regular basis for a year.

Speaking on the occasion, Acharya Balkrishna said clean living holds the key to healthy living.
